Glossary
In short: The terms used in the Partner app, Shopify integration and this guide.
- STREET Partner app: where you accept and pack orders, follow delivery, manage location availability and contact support.
- STREET app in Shopify: where you connect your Shopify store, manage catalogue settings and approve STREET billing.
- Acceptance window: the short time available to respond to an incoming order. An unanswered order is marked missed and cancelled. See Accepting Orders.
- Operating hours: when the location is available to accept, pack and hand over orders.
- Location: a shop with its own collection address, stock and hours. See Your Locations.
- On Street: a product setting controlling whether it is offered on STREET, subject to stock and other visibility checks.
- Stock allocation: a limit on the quantity shown for a variant at a time, using shared Shopify stock. See STREET and Your Shopify POS.
- Rider: the courier collecting and delivering an order.
- Delivery fee: the customer's delivery payment. STREET's delivery charge to the retailer is accounted for separately. See How Billing Works.
- Commission: STREET's agreed share of the goods supplied.
- STREET credit: an order contribution absorbed by STREET through a reduced usage charge, where applicable.
- Cap: the approved maximum for STREET usage charges in the app's billing cycle. See Caps and Alerts.
